The PRF Breast Lift (VBL) can be used to correct asymmetry in the cleavage that sometimes occurs after breast augmentation surgery. Rather than undergoing more surgery to correct the asymmetry, our patients can choose this non-surgical procedure instead, which can be completed in the office with no downtime. The procedure includes injecting a syringe of HA filler into the rippled areas of the cleavage. The technician takes special care to displace the implant with her hand and aim the needle away from the implant so there is little risk of piercing the implant. Then the PRP is injected into the same area. Once the PRP is injected, the skin of the breasts will begin the healing process and over 6-8 weeks improvement of the skin will develop. The result is an immediate correction of the rippling and symmetrical breasts that can last 1-2 years!

What to Expect on the Day of a PRF Breast Lift

When you come into Seychelles for your PRF Breast Lift, you will begin by having a blood sample drawn by your technician, usually from your arm. Your blood will be spun in a centrifuge machine to separate the PRP.

Once the PRP is separated, the technician will apply a numbing cream to your breasts to decrease your sensitivity during the procedure. Then, a thin needle is used to inject the PRP into targeted areas throughout your breasts.

The injections generally take about 20 minutes with the entire procedure usually lasting about an hour.

What is the downtime?

Most of our patients don’t experience any side effects after getting a PRF Breast Lift and can return to their day-to-day routines that day. Some people experience some bruising, swelling, or mild tenderness for a few days after their treatment, but it is easily manageable with some over-the-counter pain medication and rest.
