What is an IPL Photofacial?

This is an innovative technology that sets new standards for aging skin, active lifestyles, and sun-damaged skin (such as dark or brown spots). What’s the first step?

What to Expect on the Day of an IPL Photofacial

What is the downtime?

You may experience some redness that should resolve within a few hours. For some pigmented lesions, you will see a darkening of the treated areas followed by fading and flaking off at a later stage. The treatment will leave skin feeling smoother, fine lines and pores will be less noticeable, and sunspots or uneven pigmentation will fade. Results depend on your condition, the number of treatments, and the area treated. We will provide you with complete information about the post-treatment care and results.

This is a non-invasive procedure with nearly no downtime. In most cases, you can return to work, apply makeup, and resume most of your activities immediately.

You will be sensitive to ultra-violet light and you must avoid direct sun exposure until completely healed. Using good sunscreen whenever you go outdoors and daily is always recommended.
