What is Zimmer Z Wave?

Z Wave is a revolutionary fat reduction treatment, using a machine that stimulates blood circulation and lymphatic drainage through the use of sound waves. These soundwaves send the energy out in a radial manner, effectively treating the surrounding areas. When lymphatic drainage and blood circulation are stimulated, there is a dramatic reduction of cellulite, which can even be potentially eliminated. The shockwaves used by the Z Wave are made up of 2 different parts: a positive pressure pulse and a small tensile wave component. When used, fat is completely destabilized as the tissue is squeezed, breaking up the solid cellulite structure that has been forming and creating a collapse of the gas bubbles within the fat structures, also called cavitation. The Z Wave will also work out the harmful toxins in your body’s tissues, which reduces the chance of cellulite returning. Not only will Z Wave help reduce and eventually eliminate fat cells, but it also provides visibly firmer and smoother skin, increases the skin’s elasticity, and improves stretch marks. For patients using other body contouring treatments such as CoolSculpting, Z Wave can increase the efficiency up to 60%.

Patients who are considering Zimmer ZWave or Slimspec treatments should be of good health with no underlying conditions that can hinder the effects of treatment. Patients who experience cellulite and are looking for treatment should in at or near their goal weight to ensure the best results. This treatment is recommended for patients who have already undergone fat reduction treatments or have lost excess weight through means of diet and exercise. We ask that patients have realistic expectations for their ZWave or Slimspec results and understand that more than one treatment may be required to achieve the desired results. What’s the first step?

The first step in getting tighter, smoother skin and a more shapely body are to contact us and schedule your free consultation. What to expect?

When you come into our boutique MedSpa for your Zimmer Z Wave treatment, you may have already had another body sculpting treatment performed, in which case the Z Wave will enhance those results. When used on its own, it reduces the appearance of cellulite and improves your overall skin tone and firmness. After the cellulite is broken down, your body will carry off the waste material just like with any other body-sculpting treatment. Since Z Wave is completely noninvasive and nonsurgical with no incisions, there is no need for anesthesia. What is the downtime?
